Sandbeck House caters for residents aged 65 plus with residential, and/or dementia care needs. We are also able to offer Day Care facilities to the local community.

Sandbeck House can also cater for short term residents and Respite care subject to bed availability
There are 36 bedrooms in the Home, two of which are twin rooms, with 32 having en suite facilities, we also listened to those residents who preferred to have a larger room and not have en suite, so left 4 rooms without this facility but these are fitted with a wash basin & mirror.
Sandbeck House has developed over a number years from what was originally four separate homes. A large lounge is in the centre of the home and this surrounds a decked area containing seated areas and ornamental fish-pond
The home is centrally situated in the popular holiday resort of Skegness and only five minutes from the sea front promenade and within easy reach of the town centre amenities.

LYNN SHIPLEY
REGISTERED HOME MANAGER- SANDBECK HOUSE

Lynn Shipley is the Registered Manager of Sandbeck House. Lynn has worked at Sandbeck House since 1999 and was Acting Manager for a year prior to her Registration with CQC in August 2002, having previously worked in a senior carer capacity in a residential home settings. Lynn achieved her Registered Managers Award in 2008 and is also a qualified Assessor for Care achieved in 1995.

Lynn has an open door policy and holds bi-monthly Relative surgery’s, she welcomes input from both residents and relatives to ensure that the high standards of care are maintained. Lynn is available to discuss any concerns, problems and compliments you may wish to raise/discuss with her. Any concerns or problems are dealt with promptly and the home has a Complaints Policy which is available either from Lynn or from the wall holder at the front door.
